Sexing and Characteristics:

Males usually croak
females are quite large

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Lizard liner’s work well also bed a beast, moss,wood chips large enough that the frogs can eat them.

Lighting and UVB:

An incandescent light bulb works well for heating and a uvb isn’t necessary but you can use it to light the other areas of the tank and a 75 watt bulb for night time

Temperatures and Humidity:

The tank temperature should be around 75-85
the humidity should stay around 80%

Heating and Equipment:

Heat pads work well and a 75 watt incandescent is needed for heat

Caging Provided:

I currently have a 20gallon high tank since they are arboreal you should provide fake vines or live plants i use a Lucky bamboo plant a 10gallon tank is large enough for two frogs and more should 20gallon

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Crickets should be used as a main diet meal worms work well along with super worms and wax worms NEVER!!! PUT THESE FROGS WITH OTHER SMALLER FROGS SUCH AS GREY TREE FROG OR GREEN TREE FROGS OR OTHER SMALL HERPS LIKE LONGETAILED GRASS LIZARDS OR ANOLES THEY WILL POTENTIALLY BE EATEN.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

You should gut load your crickets before feeding the to your frogs and dust crickets twice a week

Maintenance:

Pretty ease to maintain great frogs for beginners

Some Words on this Species:

Great frogs to have they get to about 3-4 inches in size and are fun to watch spray the tank often clean twice a month don’t use any bleach or glass cleaners this will kill your frogs these are fun to watch not exactly sure how long they live their loud frogs so its a bad idea to keep them on your room good luck with your golden tree frogs and other herps
