Sexing and Characteristics:

Adults are very easy to sex.Males have large hemipenal buldges located at the base of the tail.

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Soil,mulch,bed-a-beast and a special carpet made for lizards lizard liner.

Lighting and UVB:

None is required but some who use it recognise more vibrant colors.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Tempurature should stay above 65 degrees F,Humidity should stay above 60% although the higher the beter.

Heating and Equipment:

None is required, room temperature is great for cresties(70’s and low 80’s)

Caging Provided:

Babies can be housed in a 10 galon tank while asingle adult should be kept in a 20 plus galon tank.Two adults can be housed in a 29 galon tank

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

Cresties will eat most fruit thats not citrucy.Tey will also eat crickets,silkworms,and baby food.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

I try to feed my crestie Clarks diet but other diets can be used to. Just mix with water!

Maintenance:

Clean cage once every week or two.

This species is very fun too take care for and own.They can be handled easy and sometimes loved to be hand fed.
