Substrate and Water Needs:

I use a jungle Substrate that the lizards can burrow in it. you also need to clean the substrate every couple weeks. I also use a normal water dish and change it every day and make sure the water dish has water in it.

Lighting and UVB:

I use a UV. bulb and leave it on all the time. I also have a basking bulb that I leave on till about 9:00 10:00 then i turn it off.

Temperatures and Humidity:

My tanks heating is about 79 to 89 degrees in the cool part the warm part is about 95 to a 100 for basking. the humidity is about 80% all the time.

Heating and Equipment:

You need 2 dome lights with one UV light and a basking bulb. You also need an under tank heating pad for the warmer part of the tank

Caging Provided:

I provided a 30 gallon tank with a water dish fake plant and 2 trees with a vine. Earl really likes the vine he sits on it and basks all day. Larry likes the tree to bask on.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

I have herd that emerald swifts like a small amount of fruits and veggies. mine don’t, they don’t like meal worms either. they only eat crickets powdered in a supplement.

Herpcare calcium & vitamin d3

Maintenance:

You should clean your tank every couple weakened water every day.

You should handle your emerald swift every day if you don’t they will not like to be held. mine like to be held every now and then.
