Sexing and Characteristics:

During the mating season the male begins to make squeaky noises,usually the male has a slightly larger build and wider head than the female

Mostly Active During:

Both

Substrate and Water Needs:

The substrate can be anything larger than the toads head as long as there is a third of the floor space is water at least 5cm deep

Lighting and UVB:

No special lighting is necessary for this species but a little during the day won’t harm the toads

Temperatures and Humidity:

The Temperature should stay between 65 and 75 during the day but can lower slightly during the night the humidity should be around 60% but the water source should keep the humidity level stable

Heating and Equipment:

None is needed unless the temperature in your house falls below 59 degrees Fahrenheit

Caging Provided:

I provide a 15 gallon long vivarium with just under a third of the floor space 5cm deep water

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Crickets main diet but will eat nearly anything mine love waxworms as a monthly treat

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Crickets should be gut loaded and covered in a calcium supplement

Maintenance:

Spot clean every week, change substrate every 6 months,water change every 2 weeks unless you have a water filter
