You can put Fire-Bellied Newts in the water.

Substrate and Water Needs:

You can put sloped gravel in the tank and then pour in water until it reaches the top of the gravel. Also put moss in the land area.

Lighting and UVB:

No lighting is required

Temperatures and Humidity:

Mist enclousure daily. Keep cage at 65-78 degrees.

Heating and Equipment:

I use a night bulb 24 hours a day during cold days.

Caging Provided:

I reccomend 3 toads per. 10 gallons, but if you have a 5 gallon tank, only have one toad.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Small/Medium crickets and feeder guppies.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Dust crockets every once in a while.

Maintenance:

You should have an air pump in the water and clean it up when they poop. Change a cupful of water per. gallon once a week.

Some Words on this Species:

They have poisonus skin, so wash your hands after you handle them. They make good begginer pets and live 5-7 years.
