Sexing and Characteristics:

Males have a triangular-shaped head and are much bigger than females. the females are smaller and their head is as wide as its body

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

For substrate u could use sand or bark but i prefer bark because sand can get the lizard impacted and that can be fatal

Lighting and UVB:

Use a UVB lamp

Temperatures and Humidity:

Have a temperature of 75-85 degrees throughout the tank and the lowest night time temperature is 60 degrees

Heating and Equipment:

Don’t use heat rocks and make sure for equipment u get alot of hiding spots or your lizard will get stressed out and die also keep a water dish in at all times and mist cage in the morning everyday just like it would be in the wild

Caging Provided:

Use a 10-20 gallon tank for just 1,anything higher for 2 or more gators

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Feed them live crickets and/or mealworms everyday. i feed mine 3 large crickets a day and 1 mealworm or the other way around

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

I use calcium powder once a week

Maintenance:

Keep tank clean an pick up any poo u find in the tank

These lizards are very interesting when hunting and they good adaptable animals, however they will inflict a painful bite if u provoke them. just make sure u feed them and the tank is well cleaned u will do just fine
