Sexing and Characteristics:

you cant sex a snake after it has hatched , the only proper way is to take it to a specialist and have it sexed i had my snake sexed when she was 2 from a breeder

Substrate and Water Needs:


You should keep to water dishes in the snakes tank , 1 for drinking from and 2 to lay in or soak . give fresh water daily and scrub scum from the dish every other day to keep the water fresh for your snake

Lighting and UVB:


i use a light only during the day and turn it off at night and turn the heating pad on at night to keep the temps. perfect

Temperatures and Humidity:


you should keep a basking rock under a light or on a heating pad on one side for warmth and on the other side leave a water dish and some were to hide for shade or sleep. one side of the tank should be at least in the 80s and on the other side in the 60s .

Heating and Equipment:


a heating pad or a light will be fine

Caging Provided:

i provide a huge tank for my snake celest . the bedding i use are wood chips that lock in moisture. She has a heating pad at one end of the tank with a climbing tree next to it .on that side i keep the temps at 80 degrees . on the other side i keep 2 water dishes , one to bathe in and the other to drink from .i keep a hiding cave to keep her cool and on that side the temps are in the 60s .she has another climbing stick with many branches.She is very happy

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

I give her fuzzies every week with vitamin supplements and nutrients i also have a feeding chart which i record the actions and date she ate .

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

You can buy mice that have already had the vitamins and minerals needed but i use a special formula.

Maintenance:

i spot clean the cage every day and get rid of poop every other day . i make sure that all the equipment is working properly.
