Sexing and Characteristics:
Male fence lizards will have a dark blue belly and 2 hemipenal bulges, females will have some blue but not as dark.

Substrate and Water Needs:
For babies you can use paper towels and for adults you can reptile carpet, dirt,Eco earth. For water keep a shallow water dish large enough for your lizard to soak in.
Lighting and UVB:
I would suggest a 75 watt bulb and a 8.0 uvb bulb
Temperatures and Humidity:
The temperature needs to be from 80-90 degrees on the hot end and 70-80 degrees on the cool end. House hold humidity should be fine unless your house is above 80%.
Heating and Equipment:
There should be a 75 watt heat bulb and a 8.0 uvb light.
Caging Provided:
I provided mine with a 10 gallon then I moved her to a 30 gallon. Provide hiding spots and things to clime on. Fake leaves are acceptable.
Diet:
Carnivorous
Description of Diet:
Fence lizards are carnivores meaning they eat meat so crickets, butter worms, sometimes meal worms mine love beetles, sometimes I feed mine house spiders. Small Pinkie mice can be given to adults on occasion.
Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:
A calcium supplement can be given 3-4 times a week.
Maintenance:
Misting can be done once a day.The water dish should have fresh water every day.
