Substrate and Water Needs:

There are different options you can use. you can have newspaper and change it on a regular basis, or you can also use a corn substrate that you can get from a pet store then you can clean it easier.

Lighting and UVB:

They do not need a lighting source, unless where your bugie is it is to dark to see.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Bugdies can stay at room temp all year. It is good to keep them inside to avoid any predators.

Heating and Equipment:

You do not need any heating. if you have one budgie or are getting one it is good to provide a mirror. They have a toy with piece’s and thing that will get the bird attention. They also have a little ladder to get to a perch or to perch on, I keep a bath in there cage because my budgies bathes alot they have water and food dishes and cement perch to keep there nail down and a wooden perch the length of the cage.

Caging Provided:

I provide a large cage it gives the bird some freedom when he is not flying in your house,apartment, etc.... It is about 3 feet tall and 2 wide

Diet:

N/A

Description of Diet:

It is good to keep a healthy diet for your bird give them budgie seed every day if his dish is empty. Change his water everyday. Provide a cuttle bone for calcium. You should also have millet in there cage for variety, a little romaine lettuce if they will take it. NO ICEBERG LETTUCE ITS TO HARD FOR THEM TO DIGEST IT CAN CAUSE SICKNESS OR DEATH OF THE BIRD. It is also good to have seed treat for them.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

The bird gets there calcium from the cuttle bone.

Maintenance:

You need to keep a clean cage for you bird and have clean food and water bathe at least once a week to keep him in good shape. You have to let your bird out to fly around and pay a lot of attention to him
