Soil or bark. Needs to be moist at all times

Room temperature, but to keep humidity mist vivarium 7 times a day.

Heating and Equipment:

None

Caging Provided:

Critter keeper, tupperware, butter container, etc.

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

They’ll eat almost any plants, fruits, vegetables, decaying wood or dead insects.

If you plan to gut-load them feed them stuff like romaine lettuce, apple, strawberries and other good nutritious fruits, veggies and herbs.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

I keep them to gut-load them for my toad. I keep them for about 2 days. Dust them with reptile vitamin powder.

Maintenance:

I keep about 5 at a time, when i fed them to my toad, i take out uneaten rotting plants, so there is no mold.

Some Words on this Species:

They like to chill under a rock or an old piece of wood. It wont look like they eat, because they have small mouths, but they’re eating what you give them.

They need to be moist because they breath through gills, they are crustaceans like crabs, lobsters, crayfish and shrimp.
