Substrate and Water Needs:

I use mostly rocks. They love water.So I have a stream of water in the back of the tank with rocks holding back all the little rocks so she has a dry place and a stream to swim when ever she likes. **It is very hard to clean the water every two days so make sure before you set the tank up like this you are fully committed to cleaning it every other day or buy a filter for it.**

Lighting and UVB:

I use a heat lamp and a heating pad under the tank turned on low.The lights are on a 12 hour timer.

Temperatures and Humidity:

The Temp. usually from 80-85 during the day and 70-75 at night.I use plants to help with the humidity

Heating and Equipment:

A heating pad and a large water bowl (litter boxes work good for a small water dragon)

Caging Provided:

Right now I have a 23 gallon tank but in a few months I will be getting a 40 gallon tank because she will be getting bigger

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

She will eat crickets and I have heard the will eat vegetables such as green beans.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

I use a calcium dust on the crickets she gets fed.

Maintenance:

I have to clean her tank every two days because she usually uses it in her water. When ever she uses it clean it up as soon as possible.Keep lots of branches inside the tank.

Some Words on this Species:

These are wonderful pets but they do get large. They also tend to rub there snouts off in there tank is to small. If you notice them running into the glass a lot get a larger tank as soon as possible.
