You can pop them at a small size, and probe them at a larger size.

Substrate and Water Needs:
I use fine bedding so that they can burrow easier, but they do very good in aspen bedding.
Lighting and UVB:
You can use lighting, but it isn’t necessary.
Temperatures and Humidity:
They do good at just above normal room temperature. I up the humidity level during shed.
Heating and Equipment:
An under tank heater works great with these snakes.
Caging Provided:
I have mine in custom made cages. A 10 gallon tank is great for juvies, and a 20 long will work great for adults.
Diet:

Description of Diet:
Mine is wild caught (by me) and I fed her the day after I caught her with no trouble. Feed them an appropriately sized rodent every 5-7 days as juvies and 7-10 days as adults.

Spot cleaning should be done, and monthly cleaning of the cage should be done.
