Sexing and Characteristics:

My Kingsnake is a desert Mojave Kingsnake and is very active. I don’t breed, but i do love snakes. My Cal. Kingsnake has black and white bands going throughout his body. He is BEAUTIFUL.

Mostly Active During:

Both

Substrate and Water Needs:

Use ASPEN shavings...there the best....they don’t dust up and don’t have a scent which is great. Scents can harm your snake immune system so stay away from that

Lighting and UVB:

Use a heat bulb and under tank heat pad. Put the heat pad on only one side of the terrarium.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Keep the warm side-the one with the heat pad-about 80 to 89 degrees. And the cold side about 75.

Heating and Equipment:

Make sure to have a hiding place or a house on the heated side so your snake can chill and hang out. Make sure to have a water bowl that it can drink and submerge in. NOTE: replace water daily!!!

Caging Provided:

10 gallon tank until it grows about 2 feet......then replace it with a 30 gallon tank as it grows into adult-hood
