None

Sexing and Characteristics:

A scorpion will have wing like things on its under side. If is long its male, if its short its female.

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Always keep about 4 crickets with the scorpion because they would over eat. For water you should use a shallow water dish and give it fresh water every day.

Lighting and UVB:

Scorpions do not like the light. So heat pads are recommended.

Temperatures and Humidity:

During the day the temperature should be 75*-85* and at night it should be 65*-75*. The humidity should be 75-85 also.

Heating and Equipment:

The best equipment to keep your scorpion happy would a heat pad, peat moss, shallow water dish, and fake plant for shade when there’s too much light, a few hiding spots, and a good spot for it to burrow.

Caging Provided:

If you have one scorpion, the lowest size tank should be a 10 gallon tank. You may put 1 scorpion for every 5 gallons but its safe to start small amount of scorpions. Like 2 would be good. They hate light so no heat lamp should be used. You will be better using an under tank heat pad on one side of the tank. Make sure you have a few hiding spots. The best flooring that i use is Peat moss. Its great for burrows.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Its best to feed a scorpion crickets from the store. But if you cant get crickets its ok to feed it a wild cricket or grasshopper. Its not safe to give them wild bug because they could have parasites and will harm your scorpion. So crickets from the store is the best and safest option.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

To keep your scorpion happy and healthy, feeding it crickets from the store is best and fresh water. And cleaning the cage at least once a month will keep it happy.

Some Words on this Species:
