Sexing and Characteristics:
The male has rough bumps on its back and the males head is also larger.

Substrate and Water Needs:
Change the water twice a week. Only change 1/4 of the water though. You should put about 2-4 inches of water in the toads tank and about 1-3 inches of substrate on the ground. These frogs like moss so put some moss in too. before changing the water in the frogs tank you need to let the water sit for 24 hours. u can’t use tap water that will harm the toads.
Lighting and UVB:
U should put a 40watt bulb and leave it on for about 12 hours a day.
Temperatures and Humidity:
These frogs like temperatures from 65-85farenheit. The humidity should be around 70-80.
Heating and Equipment:
The toads like the water in their tank about65-75ferenheit. u can do that by getting a water heater at your local petstore.
Caging Provided:
20 gallon aqarium will house 4-5 toads. a ten gallon will house 2-3 toads.

Crickets earthworms waxworms guppies pinky mice[only for full grown toads] moths and butterflies.
