Look up guppies on the net. Very easy to tell apart.

Substrate and Water Needs:

Need fresh water. No salt or chlorine. You can buy anti-chlorine at pet stores for very cheap.

Lighting and UVB:

Must have a light during the day. The light and the hood usually come with the aquarium kit.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Around 70 to 77 degrees. Can stay in cold or warmer water for a short time.

Caging Provided:

About 20 guppies can fit in a 10 gallon tank.

Diet:

Description of Diet:

Flake food form the store. Will eat bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

None needed. Extremely hardy fish.

Maintenance:

Need their water changed about every 6 months.

Some Words on this Species:

Probably the most beautiful freshwater fish anywhere. Look them up on the net and you will be surprised at all their different color combinations. Very hardy. Are livebeares that have babies about once every month. Can have up to over 100 babies at a time, but usually under 30. The parents will eat the babies if the babies aren’t provided with plants to hide in.
