Species:
Cats
Other Species or Phases this Care Sheet May Cover:
Every Breed of Cat
Sexing and Characteristics:
Hehehe- I think everyone knows! Boys are boys and girls are girls!
Mostly Active During:
Night
Substrate and Water Needs:
Just make sure to always have water out for them. Also make sure you feed them at least 2 times a day. A small lunch is always good, too.
Lighting and UVB:
As you all may know, cats can see in the dark, but they love to sit in the sun all day, like all 3 of mine do :)
Temperatures and Humidity:
They love the warmth, but can definitely live in the cold. Just keep in mind warmth is the best.
Heating and Equipment:
Just a water and food bowl and a place to sit and rest, and just to run around the house (keep in mind, cats ARE going to nip a few times and have to run or else they’ll take all their energy out on you!) And of course, who could forget, the LITTER! Make sure to clean that out every week. Food food food and food too!
Caging Provided:
If he’s an outdoor cat, just remember NEVER declaw him, just incase they get into fights or they have to climb a tree, they won’t be able to without claws. Personally, I think having inside cats can save a lot of money and time. Also realize outdoor cats have MANY more dangers, like getting hit by a car, being attacked by another animal, etc.
Diet:
Omnivorous
Description of Diet:
They just need regular cat food! Although, as a treat only once in a while (can cause diarehha sometimes) give them tuna or other little pieces of fish.
Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:
Cats and kittens don’t need any. They only will if you buy the cheap food that has no vitamins.
Maintenance:
As I said, littler changed every week (a MUST..pee yew!), food at least twice a day, water always must be available, NO baths (LOL they cleann themselves), and just give them love and they’ll give you love back!
Some Words on this Species:
The best kind of cat I’d say are tabbies. I have all tabbies and they’re very loveable! They’re good for beginners.
