Sexing and Characteristics:

Females are bigger. males are thin and smaller. Some stick insects are all females and do not mate but lay eggs that will be all females. eg the indian stick insect.

Substrate and Water Needs:

I use potting soil. For water you mist plants once a day.

Lighting and UVB:

I use a house light bulb for heating only a 60 watt.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Temperature= 70 to 80F.
humidity= 70 to 100%

Heating and Equipment:

You can use a heat mat or a light bulb.

Caging Provided:

I have a 3 foot wooden cage but you can use little plastic cages of about 5 gallons.

Diet:

Herbivorous

Description of Diet:

They eat bramble leaves, pyracantha, evergreen oak and rose leaves. All of the leaves are from outside.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

None

Maintenance:

Mist the cage once a day. Feed new plant once a week. Clean cage once a month.
