Sexing and Characteristics:

Light brown/tan with medium brown markings
markings get reddish towards the end of the tail

Females are generally larger than males, but for accuracy, get it probed by a professional.

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Substrates:
Indoor/outdoor carpet
newspaper
paper towels
repti-bark (not cedar)
DO NOT use sand.

Water:
Provide a clean water bowl big enough for it to submerge in at all times.

Lighting and UVB:

Heat lamp if needed.
They require no UV.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Cool side: 80-85
Warm side: 85-90
humidity: 60%

Heating and Equipment:

Under tank Heat Pads and Heat lamps work.

Caging Provided:

Start with a 10gal. and gradually move up in gals. as they grow.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Their food should be a little smaller than the largest part of their body.
Pinkies’s, Fuzzy, and Hopper Mice for young
Feeder mice
large mice
rat pups
small rats
medium rats
Large rats
jumbo rats
colossal rats
increase diet as they grow

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

They need no vitamin supplements.

Maintenance:

Wash out there cage once every 3 weeks.
Provide fresh water at all times.
Clean out there feces.

They are great pets, very docile, they are amazing creatures!
they are normally not nippy, and can live up to 20 years in age.
