Water dragons in general, all can live with same requirements.

Sexing and Characteristics:

Can only tell when adults, so 1 year and up.

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

Kitty litter dish, with rocks to help them climb out and in. Water fountains are great, for water dragons can’t hear sounds they feel them through vibrations.

Lighting and UVB:

For young ones 1 month to 8 months old, a 6.5 to 7.0 uvb light.
for adults 1 year and up, should use an 8.0 uvb light or higher.
for young ones a for a heat lamp, 60watts, to 80 watts.
for an adults 100 watts to 120 watts for older adults. Bottom line you need a uvb, and a heat light, 2 lights is a must.

The humidity should read around 75% or higher during the day, and drop lowest to 55-69%. If you don’t have a humidity reader, I suggest you get one, very important.

For small ones 40 gallon and bigger-(is better), for adults try a 100 gallon tank, water dragons have long tails, they need to move it around. Lots of branches for your wd to climb, i have 2 water dishes, more the merrier. Put real plants in there such as Pothos, or Dracaena.

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

You should dust your crickets, to make sure it gets a decent amount of dust, i suggest a cricket duster. It’s like a cup with a filter in the bottom for you powder. Silkworms, waxworms, feed once a week(fattening foods, like candy). Crickets, superworms, small mealworms. When you buy crikets or meal worms, put small pieces of carrots, lettuce, potatoes, so they eat the vegies(called gut loaded). This way you water dragon is feed with nutrients.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Well use dust for wd food. It is a powder that helps water dragons get calcium which the do not get from wd food. drops for you water when you mist, calcium.

Clean water , everyday.
mist tank 4 to 5 times a day.
take out dead insects.
