Sexing and Characteristics:

Males Have longer tails. I have 2 Breeding pairs

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

I use bottled water and gravel.( NEVER EVER USE TAP WATER WITHOUT DECHLORINATING IT!!! )

Lighting and UVB:

I just use natural sunlight

Temperatures and Humidity:

Day= 75-80f Night= 70-75f

Heating and Equipment:

Warmth of the sun (In Winter I use a heat mat or aquarium heater)

Caging Provided:

I have a 15 gallon aquarium with about 5 inches of water with gravel on the bottom and some live plants. I also have a large floating island in there with a water dish on it.

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

I know people say they are fully carniverous but my newts often nibble on the live plants. But they also eat frozen bloodworms.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Well... they plants count as vitamins.

Maintenance:

I use a filter.
