Sexing and Characteristics:

Fire Salamanders are based with a dark brown, black coat with sevral splats of yellow all over base. The only way to tell is if your salamander is male or female is if there fully grown, pick them look right befor where there tail starts if theres a v its a male if not than you have a female.

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

In there cage you want to keep mostly any type of moss, reptile bark, potting soil, fish tank gravle. What ever you decide to keep make shore its always is mosit. Keep a big dish of water, so you can feed them guppies but make sure it sallow and easy for them to get out of.

Lighting and UVB:

Try to keep the lighting as low as possible to lower the tepurature for a 5 gallon use a 15 wat, 10 gallon 25 wat, 15 gallon 40 wat, 20 gallon 65 wat and so on.

Temperatures and Humidity:

70-75 room temp. 60%-75%

Heating and Equipment:

No heating but you might want a medum waterfall with a 250 waterfall pump and a froger for the humitiy levle.

Caging Provided:

55 gallon tank with a layer of potting soil, 4 varitys of moss, and a home made burrow made of roting tree bark with moss growing all over it and a small etra-tra water fall, 2 coucount hide outs, and a old tupaware bowl spay painted black with always 5 guppies in it. That houses 2 males and 3 females.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Crickits, meal worms, wax worms, smalle hissing cockroachis, pinkey mice, Guppies, roseys, earth worms, slugs, snails, other reptiles and ampfipins, in fact my male loves to eat anoles and house geckos.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Onenc in a while i will spinkle rept. cal on there crickits.

Easy!
