Sexing and Characteristics:

Females are often larger and fatter than males. Females also have little extension between their legs. Males develop dark mating pads on the undersides of their hands and arms.

Substrate and Water Needs:

Fully Aquatic No land needed nor recommended. Substrate not recommended because if ingested could cause impaction and could die.

Lighting and UVB:

No UVB required jsut a viewing light

Temperatures and Humidity:

Water Temp: 68-75 degrees F

Heating and Equipment:

Water Heater

Caging Provided:

Fish tank 1 for every 10 gallons

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Crickets, Worms, Small Fish but will eat turtle foods such as Zoomed Low Protein Turtle Diet, Reptomin and Wardley

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Use A Pellet Food

Maintenance:

Have a filter and good water movement clean every other week if kept alone but clean as needed if hosued with fish

Great Begginer herp. A look at pet. Lives pretty long. Lives in a fish-type setup all water so donít have a land setup. Make sure you have a screen top these little guys will jump and if the dry up they can die.
