Sexing and Characteristics:

The females are almost always slightly larger than the males when full grown.

Mostly Active During:

Both

Substrate and Water Needs:

I always have fresh water in a bowl in my tank (note: i would always make sure my water bowl is always filled to at least 3/4 filled up)

Lighting and UVB:

A lighting source is definitely required for this particular snake. Your heat source should ~AT LEAST~ be on 12-14 hours a day. make sure that you turn the light off at night for their cooling period.

Temperatures and Humidity:

I always keep my tank 80 to 90 degrees during the day and below 80 at night for their cooling period.

Heating and Equipment:

I have a 12 inch clamp on heat lamp with a 100 watt bulb for at least 80 to 90 degrees.

Caging Provided:

I have 2 juveniles (2 ft.) that I keep in a 20 gallon long aquarium. For my 2 adult females ( 4 ft. ea.)i have them in a 75 gallon tank that fits them perfect :)

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

I feed my to juveniles a white mouse once a week. So for one of my females i feed a rat a week but for my bigger female I’m trying to power feed her and get her to at least 6 feet so i get in almost 2 rats a week.

Very easy maintenance.
