Sexing and Characteristics:

Male- The male FBT has fatter, bigger forearms and have bumpy-er skin, they also have a bigger, square type of head
Female- A female is usually not as bumpy as the male and there heads are more pointed, and fore arms ain’t as big. And people say its "hard" to breed FBTs, well, its not all you have to do is slightly change your temperature a bit each day and change water to at least 4-6 inch. of water so your frog
can have the eggs, you also u need a male and a female frog..duh..? ;)

Substrate and Water Needs:

Fire bellied Toads only need half/half of water and land. About 2-3 inch. of water would be best, if your interested in breeding them then 4-6 inch. would be alright.

Lighting and UVB:

You don’t need any lighting or anything

Temperatures and Humidity:

65 75 i think for temperatures night about 60 65..correct me please if I’m wrong ;) Humidity, well i was told that u should maybe spray the tank down lightly with a spray bottle everyday to boost up the humidity I’m sure you don’t HAVE to tho

Heating and Equipment:

No heating needed

20 gallon tank

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

My fire bellied toads eat crickets you can also feed them
Meal worms*They are not necessary to feed the toads may have trouble swallowing, and if u do feed watch them they may harm your toad by biting them, their for, they may not be best to feed to the toads but, its up to you!*
I have been told you can feed them pinkie mice or sum thin like that i dunno i guess if Ur toads sorta big u can feed it but i have never seen a pinkie mouse before so i don’t really no..:S
But i think dusted crickets are the best, small, medium or large. i take small but u choose what best for your toad!

Well i feed my toads dusted crickets,
Rep-cal Calcium. Is what its called

erm..Whats this mean sorry i would put some thin here if i new what it meant..darn I’m dumb

These guys are the best very easy to take care of ummm *treat these guys like frogs* because well they are just like em, err they don’t like being called lumpy toads **Just Joking** but either ways they are really cool SO yeah..Just make sure u get a right sized tank for them and get em a partner they get lonely :*(
