Sexing and Characteristics:

The females have no testicles and have nipples showing

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

Use aspen

never use pine or cedar cause of their oils

Lighting and UVB:

They need neither

Temperatures and Humidity:

The less humidity the better and keep the temps around the 60’s

Heating and Equipment:

No heating is required

all you need is a wheel and water bottle or bowl and a food dish

you can use a sleeping house but they don’t need it since they like to sleep in the corners

Caging Provided:

A standard 10 gallon is sufficient to house one male or female

you can also house two females in a 20 but never two males

iv done all the stuff listed in the boxes above

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

They mainly need commercially made hamster or gerbil food

you can feed them carrots, apple slices, and they love mealworms and superworms

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

No supplements are needed

Maintenance:

Clean corners out every 2 days and the whole cage every 2 weeks but if you don’t clean the corner every 2 or 3 days clean the whole thing once a weeks

They are cute pets and love to have human company

even though i haunt had any for 2 years i used to breed them and don’t be disappointed if you breed them and she eats or the litter dies on your first try
