Care Sheet Information:

Origin: The Rainforests of Madagascar

Adult Size: 4-5”, although it’s not uncommon to see adults only 3-4”

Arboreal: Have adhesive pads on their toes which enable them to climb smooth, vertical surfaces, such as glass

Diurnal: Active during the day/Needs UVB lighting for 12-14 hours a day

Diet: Omnivorous

Description of Diet: Crickets, overripe fruit, baby food, and juices

Cage Size: A 10 Gallon Tank works well for one

Temperature: 75°F-85°F during the day with a 90°F-95°F basking spot. The temperature can drop into the low 70’s at night

Humidity: 60%-80% Mist at least once every other day. Mist more often in drier climates

Handling: Skin is sensitive, so handle with care and only hold babies when you have too

Tank Needs: Have a shallow water dish, a rainforest-like enclosure setup, and hiding spots. Also provide lots of places to climb Some fake (or real) plants would look nice in the enclosure
