Sexing and Characteristics:

Veiled chameleons are one of the easy reptiles to sex all it is the male will have spurs on the back of the hind legs foot
but the female doesn’t (it takes a few months for the spur to grow)

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

Substrates ain’t a bit thing for chameleons as they are tree climbers and don’t spend that much time on the ground sometimes not at all but if yours is a one who likes to go on the ground use paper towels
water is essential put a small cat litter tray near the basking lamp you can buy a mister or use a leaf drip-per as water needs

Lighting and UVB:

It is important to use a uva+uvb 7.0 as a compact bulb is the best as tubes die after 6 months

Temperatures and Humidity:

Temperature should be 78f to 85f do NOT use a basking lamp which reaches above 90f

Heating and Equipment:

Reptile glo are good or reptisun heat lamps you can use a heat mat for air temperature if under 70f at night use a night glo

Caging Provided:

Veiled chameleons only reach to about 2half foot so get something about 6 foot tall 4 foot wide and 4foot Length

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

Veiled chameleons are perfectly happy with eating both so use a mixture of crickets or locusts NEVER USE MEAL WORMS
and romaine collard and mustard greens or the cheapest dandelion leaves

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Use calcium every day and multivitamins weekly

Maintenance:

Keep reasonably clean a bit every day and a full wash every fortnight
