Sexing and Characteristics:

Green trefrogs- green to brown with a light stripe down the sides and lips

grey treefrogs- mottled grey and white with the insides of the thighs being yellow or orange

males usually peep more and the the females are larger

Mostly Active During:

Night

Substrate and Water Needs:

A water bowl big enough for all your frogs must be provided and you should mist the cage with water every morning.
for substrate you can use orchid bark or ground coconut husk for substrate. the coconut husk is usually better because if your treefrog accidentally ingests some it is easily passed through the digestive system without impacting

Lighting and UVB:

Tree frogs dont need uv or uvb lighting but they should have a light period of 12 hours and a lights off period of 12 hours

Temperatures and Humidity:

They do fine at room temperature and misting in the morning should take care of the humidity needs of the frogs

Heating and Equipment:

If you live in a cold enviroment then you could put a small heat mat under one side of the cage and set it at a round 85 degrees farenheight.

Caging Provided:

A ten gallon (tall) for one frog and add 5 gallons for every new frog you add to the colony

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Insectivore- eats about all bugs you give it. usually not a picky eater. does fine on a diet of crickets and small worms. also, silkworms and waxworms are a good treat

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Dust the food item with calcium vitamin supplement twice a week for a dults and every other day for babies. juveniles should get their food items dusted 3 times weekly

Maintenance:

Remove wastes and change water every day. mist with water in the morning. change entire cage if mold or fungus is discovered.

they are usually good eaters and will live a long happy life if given proper care.
