Males have larger necks and larger preanal pores.
Mostly Active During:
Night
Substrate and Water Needs:
Some claim that sand is a cause of impaction, but as long as you use fine grain sand for reptiles, or calcium sand you will be fine.
Lighting and UVB:
If not using a ceramic heater, put a basking bulb on one side of the tank and use a night basking bulb in the same spot at night
Temperatures and Humidity:
Keep temperatures 90 degrees on hot side 80 degrees on cool side. No humidity needed.
Heating and Equipment:
I recommend an undertank heating pad.
Caging Provided:
I use a 20 gallon long aquarium with a screen top for two geckos
