I use about 4 to 6 inches of organic peat-moss also you can put
a couple of plants in there as well so it can have places to hide
and also will keep the humidity up

Lighting and UVB:

No UV lighting because they are nocturnal but in the day
use maybe a 75 watt bulb just for day/nite affect

Temperatures and Humidity:

I keep mine between 85 on one side and 76 on the other and humidity should be about 80%

Heating and Equipment:

A heating pad on the side or bottom of the tank should work
and at nite a 75 watt nocturnal heating bulb should do the trick

I use a 29 gallon long aquarium but a 10 gallon will work for one just add 5 gallons per scorpion and things will be OK

Carnivorous

Crickets will work good maybe once in a wile give a couple of

Just dust the crickets and etc. with some reptile vitamin powder every 2 or 3 feedings

Not much maintenance is needed just spot clean every week if
needed and clean the whole tank every 3 months

Some Words on this Species:

This species of scorpion is a good beginner pet but only recommended for a mature person there sting can KILL if you are allergic to bee’s wasp etc. but if your not then it should only leave a small hive and extreme pain where ever you get stung but nothing that will do long term damage
