Sexing and Characteristics:

Males grow 5 to 7 inch’s and females grow6 to 9 inch’s. Females also wider then males.

Substrate and Water Needs:

You can use soil,peat moss,sphagnum moss or coconut fiber. put 2 or 3 inch’s so they can bury in.i use half peat and half sphagnum moss for my tank. a water bowl large enough for the frog to soak in is needed.

Lighting and UVB:

Only use a fluorescent light. u don’t need a uvb. a weak heat lamp if u live in a cold place or have cold winters.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Keep the temp to 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. humidity should be 80%-85%

Heating and Equipment:

Heating is not required. use an under tank heating pad if you live in a cold place.!!!!DO NOT!!! put the heating pad under the water bowl.

Caging Provided:

Can live in a 10 gal for the rest of its life but 15 gal is best for a full grown.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Feed young pacmans 4 crickets a day and adults 3 crickets a day. you can feed fish, pinkies, and mice to pacmans for calcium but don’t have to. can feed earthworms for some vitamins. cut off heads of meal worms since the can eat there way out of pacmans. can also feed small lizards and frogs to pacmans but that’s not necessary.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Gut load crickets before feeding to pacman. also put some crickets in a bag with some calcium dust and shake the bag to get the dust stuck to the crickets.

Maintenance:

Clean cage once a month and replace water every 2 days. mist cage 1 or 2 times a day to raise humidity. keep substrate moist. use decloried water only.

Some Words on this Species:

Pacmans can live 6 to 10 years with proper care. some people may get board with this pet since there usually buried in the substrate all day. one of the only frogs that have teeth, they can inflict painful bites. there very rewarding with proper care and watching them feed is cool. they usually come in brown, green, and albino.there is a cool fantasy one that is light red with dark red eyes that cost around $30. i hope this care sheet helped you with your pacman.
