Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

Use de-chlorened tap water by useing aquaplus chemical remover.

Lighting and UVB:

I just use a sunlight in the day, and a moon light at night.

Temperatures and Humidity:

19c to 25c

Heating and Equipment:

None needed.

Caging Provided:

A 10 gallon tank can easily cary 4 newts.

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

Live bloodworms, frozen bloodworms, live black worms, frozen black worms, pin head crickets, small and choped earthworms, small woodlice prety much anything that can fit in its mouth. A newts diet usually contains all meat but sometimes they can nibble on a live plant.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Aquaplus water conditioner.

Maintenance:

I sugest a filter but it can’t make much of a corent I sugest the fluval plus 1 filter. also you should clean out 1/3 of the water every week with out disterbing your animal.
