 Moving tadpoles to marsh area

I have a small water feature("pond") in my backyard. My water feature is only 12 inches deep, and 2’ by 3’.

I discovered that tadpoles had hatched in the "pond" about mid August, many of which are still present (mid Oct). It is beginning to get cold here, and will soon begin to freeze.

Can I transfer the tadpoles to a nearby marsh area? In the nearby marsh area, the tadpoles would at least stand a chance by burrowing into the bottom soil.
