 I have a great idea but i need help!

I live in Connecticut, and I am thinking about possibly opening a non-profit reptile rescue. I was wondering if anyone either had an information that would help me with this, or if anyone was interested in helping me to create it. I have some ideas already set, out but i really need someone who is somewhat experienced to give me some advice.

any ideas appreciated!!

Talk with your local vets that deal with reptiles, they’ll have ideas. Also, check into the HSUS, they might be able to give you support with expertise and even grants. It’s always a great place to start.

You could also look into becoming an offshoot of an already established shelter that might deal only with fuzzy animals. Chances are, they’ve been approached with herp turn-ins/rescues but didn’t have the ability to house them.
