Which lizard to get Hi all! I have quite a bit of experience with reptiles. I’ve had many over the years. I have a 35 gallon tank that is empty right now but i would like to fill it up. Can anyone please recomend a lizard (not geckos or uros) that can live in this tank? Thanks alot! ~E~

Which lizard to get A nice beardie, collared lizard, plated lizard, chuckwalla, hmm- what else? They would all be happy until they got too big for the tank. What’s wrong with geckos?

Which lizard to get Thanks alot for your reply... I already had a leopard gecko once and i wasnt very interested. I was EXTREMELY fascinated by the beautiful coloration they have as adults, but i just didnt like them that much. I also want something that can STAY in that tank and that likes being handled. ~E~

Which lizard to get A bearded dragon cannot live in a 35 gallon all of it’s life. A rankins dragon could easily.

Which lizard to get i would never cage beardies with a uromastyx. they are completely different species, and it is never a good idea to mix them together. i would reccommend a bearded dragon, but only if you are willing to buy a larger tank for it when it reaches adulthood. a rankins dragon would be fine in a 35 gallon if you do not want a larger beardie.

Which lizard to get You shouldn’t mix species anyway. That’s an odd size, I can’t really think of anything, but I don’t know anything about most smaller-medium lizards most lizards of my choice are medium-larger ones. I say crested gecko! But that’s just because I want some so bad, that would be a palace for them if you wanted a gecko! Hopefully someone else will have some input!

Which lizard to get Because you shouldn’t mix species. They are from different areas and carry different things and Uros like it a lot hotter than a beardie.
