 Zoo med excavator?

some of you may have heard of this new substrate stuff called zoo med excavator. it is like a naturalistic clay substrate for burrowing reptiles. i have been looking into getting a uro for some time now and since they need a basking rock, do you think the clay would hold heat very well?also, if anyone has any picks of this stuff in their terrariums please do post!
