 Lizard Trivia!!!!!

you really should know all of this stuff before you breed them. dont just put a male and female together and then ask questions about incubating and raising babies.

sorry i dont know the answers you are looking for but what you did was very irresponsible in my opinion.

well, you should just give her her food. when she has the babies just act if you bought another lizard. feed them, give them water, just do the regular.

 Lizard Trivia!!!!!

you will need to get appropriately sized food items for the young when they hatch. you need to find out what temp the eggs need to be kept at and you need to buy an incubator and keep the eggs just right.

you need to find someone who has experience breeding these lizards and find out if you need to do anything extra with the female while she is gravid.

 Lizard Trivia!!!!!

guido1090 i appreciate the advise and the last thing i want to do here is start a thread battle but you shouldnt make assumptions and go around calling people names this site is supposed to be fun, there is no hard feelings on my end but you should calm down alittle were all freinds here :)

ive actually done some extensive research and know everything i need and have kept lizards since i was a little kid i just feel the more advice the better, ive already got the incubator waiting when the time comes the temps needed is room temp, in the 70’s or even low 80’s, and for the female ive been feeding her more than usual and once the eggs are laid the normal time period is around 60 days before they hatch, and once they do they will eat pin head crickets or maybe fruit flies, the only thing i couldnt find the answer was in my first post above so latley ive been keeping a real close eye on her so i will get to the eggs as soon as possible

once the eggs hatch ill be in more familliar territory last summer i caught a few allis that were only a couple days old and now they are all 12’ inches long and doing great now im taking the next step and trying the breeding part ive been researching the breeding part for almost a year now i got all the tools and knowledge, i think this will be a cool and fun experience!

 Lizard Trivia!!!!!

okay. from your second post it just seemed like you did not know anything about the lizards and you were trying to breed them. sorry for making that assumption.

just so you know, i wasnt attacking you personally or anything like that, and i wasnt calling you names. breeding lizards and then asking questions about care and incubation is irresponsible in my opinion. i wasnt saying you were irresponsible, i was saying the act of breeding without knowing that info was irresponsible. sorry if i came across wrong.

good luck with your future hatchlings! post pictures of them when they come! :)

 Lizard Trivia!!!!!

haha ok no worries, i guess my post did seem alittle miss leading, i wish my alli would just lay them already it would be pretty funny if after all this she was just fatter than normal and not pregnant, but i really doubt that haha
