 How to attract lizards in my front / back yard

i live in northen new mexico and there are whiptales ( blue tailed, 6 lined race runners) and western fence lizards (blue bellies) and i want to catch them
i need to no how to attract them in my yard sso i can catch them

I’m not going to help you with catching them but you may want to check your state regulations about this.
Here in CA to legally catch native reptiles one must possess a valid fishing license and adhere to bag limits.
No idea what the laws are regarding this in New Mexico, but best to check first as to avoid any possible fines/jail time.
