I want one for my mother’s house and I’m only there on the weekends. I have considered everything...Ackies, monitors, bearded dragons, etc. I know, a python/boa would be perfect for this situation, but my mother hates snakes. So, what species would be good for this scenario? I want a decently sized lizard, more than 1.5 ft long at least, that can be fed only once a week. Thank you! NOTE: I understand Savannah Monitors only need to be fed once a week, but we don’t have the space for one. I understand they need a 8X4X4 enclosure, too big. I also understand they can become irritable and nippy if not handled enough, and it wouldn’t get much handling. Not an option.
