#2260972 Kelso reptiles View Profile	Message To: Whackett   In reference to Message Id: 2260960  New Leopard Gecko well let it ajust then try to feed it give it a few days alone without handiling or opening the cage (except to water) then try to feed him the tank needs to have atleast two hides or more, a basking area of about 90, normal temps need to be about 80-85, water dish (of course), food dish, substrate (abolutly no loose matireal,ie no calcium sand, walnut shell, or bark) thats about it as for the substrate you can use tile, slate rock slabs, paper towels, (only if its an adult ) then you might beable to use washed play sand from the home depot but it needs to be finly meshed about 1/8 inch or 1/16 inch screened but some people say not to because of impaction can ocurre good luck with your new lizard

My other lizards started eating right away so this is something different for me though I’ve only had him for 1 day after getting him yesterday morn.
