Well, Iguanas eat only veggies and fruits, but they are not a beginner lizard and they can grow up to 6 feet long. Chuckwallas are veggies too,but I don’t know much about them.

Chuckwallas get pretty big also. Well, correct me if I am wrong, can a beardie eat nothing live. You would have to feed them greens and fruits, but instead of crix and super worms, can you just feed them like grasshoppers in a can by Zoomed. I got them a couple times and my beardies freaked out and ate two whole cans, just wondering and trying to help you out as well. Good Luck

Bearded dragons are omnivores and Need the crickets and worms, especially when they’re little. As adults, their diets are 70% greens but that’s later on.

If your friend can’t have a lizard that eats bugs, I suggest maybe a crested gecko, one can live in a 20 gallon tank and eat the crested gecko diet and fruit (not positive on this, but they dont eat bugs) and those are easy to care for. Uromastyx don’t eat crickets or anything either, they eat a lot of greens and stuff, but they will need a bigger cage, a heat lamp, a fluorescent light, etc. So it also depends on what your friend can provide for the lizard and if she wants a small or medium size one. Good luck
