Question?? so here i sit looking through pictures and i think hmmm...the two kinds of lizards i’ve been dealing with do better by themselves, or at least do not benefit from having a roomie. now i have sugar gliders who do so much better with a roomie...
are there lizards that benefit from having a roomie??

Question?? A lot of lizards enjoy companions. anoles, alligator liz, fence, even iguanas sometimes. I have found lizards to be very social. They take comfort from a familiar friend. I even have a blind alligator liz with a fence liz. They really like to be near each other. I wouldn’t put the two together under normal circumstances because the alli would eat the fence, but my alli can only drink her food.

Question?? Sugar gliders usually do better with a companion so they don’t go into depression but reptiles do fine by themselves. Most are just as happy on their own as with a mate or in a group. Some lizards I find are highly social animals such as Rankins dragons which seem to enjoy the company of others. Over all though I don’t believe its necessary for most lizards to have company to remain in good health.
