Spare 16 Gallon Vivarium... What Lizard should I get???

Hi there, I have got a 16 gallon long vivarium at approx:
89cm(long) x29cm(deep) x23cm(high)

I’m looking into getting a lizard which would be happy in this size tank. It is a melamine viv, with a glass front- so would not be suitable for a lizard which requires a very high humidity.

Can anyone recommend a lizard/s (Not a Leo, I already have one!) which could live happily in this size tank? Obviously I’m not just going to rush out & get one- I will do my research first!

P.s I’m not a newbie to all this- I’ve had reptiles ever since I can remember (I’m 21 now) So I know what reptiles require etc!
Thanks in advance,
Gem!

Most likely some sort of gecko. I would say a pictus gecko. Or some other sort of ground dwelling lizard like a helmeted gecko.

Viper gecko, maybe a dune gecko. I don’t know if frog eyed geckos are terrestrial or not.

Frog eyes are terrestrial, but they require a deep substrate, something like 6 inches of (gasp) sand with the bottom half kept damp. I don’t think it would work in that type of enclosure.

No, you can’t put a crested in there, a crested needs at least a 20 gallon tall.

I would suggest a fat-tail gecko. My husband got one for me for my birthday and I LOVE her. She is so sweet. the best 22nd birthday present a girl could ask for. She is very mellow. good luck!

yes, all those would work, except cresties do tend to need more than that. I think you could very nicely put a couple anoles in there too:)
