You shouldn’t mix different species.

Never ever ever mix species. Some of the main reasons are:

Different environment : Most species that people want to mix together are from different environments. For instance, some people want to mix anoles with tree frogs. They might live in the same state or even in the same forest, but they live in different environments. The anoles live on the sides of sunny trees or rocks while the tree frogs live in cooler, shadier areas.
Humidity and temperature: I am not sure what the humidity needs of chilean dwarf tegus are, but i can say that a limited number of species have these humidity and temperature needs.
Territorial: all species need some sort of territory. With tegus, they need a rather large territory and any species that happens to be in that territory is either a predator or prey. This could lead to conflicts, fights at dinner time, and a whole lot of stress.
Parasites and bacteria. With every reptile, they have a lot of natural parasites and bacteria which can help them in digestion and other things. The reptile is of course immune to these parasites. If other reptiles come in contact with these, it could cause severe damage to the immune system and possibly death.

Of course some people have succesfully kept species together succesfully before, but these were from similiar habitats and kept in very large enclosures. They usually dont live as long with other species as they would by themselves. With tegus they are a rather large species(compared to anoles, house geckos, and other commonly kept together species) which would make it impossible to mix with another species.
