Well I personally like Leos more for their color, they can’t climb glass, don’t need high humidity.
Cresteds are arboreal, I didn’t want another arboreal lizard, (have one already) need higher humidity.
So, it really depends on what your preferences are.

Another thing is how old are you? depending on your age it’s kind of hard to keep herps. I’m 14 but I work often so I always have money. My mom won’t pay for anything herp related unless I forget to bring money to the petshop.

i am going to get a crested beacuse i can feed it baby food and this suplement so i dont have to feed it crikets. i am turning 13 in 3 weeks but i love herps i have been fighting with my mom to get a herp for years and now i finally am giting one

mom told me that i cant get a lep just after i posted it. found a good recipe that has small bits of chiken baby food and vitamins. freind called and hold me also has been recomended on the foum. i also got some cash.

They NEED Crickets and Mealworms PERIOD! How much cash? I bought my Leopard Gecko with a 10 gallon tank, 1 hide, water bowl and repti carpet and a heat lamp with a 60 watt bulb for 69 dollars on sale. But I bought 1 more hide, a better water bowl, made a humid hide out of a cool whip container, bought 3 thermometers and an under tank heater. I have had a Green Anole in a 20 gallon for the past year so I switch their cages. So It was like 150 dollars at least.

Brown, i would have never switched their cages. Green Anoles are WAY more active then Leos and they would most likely need more space. Ecpeially a big one. but, i would go for a crestie because they do not need much , as in they like to be cool, and not needing their heat light. but it is all up to you. i do not know what the expense is like down their, for i live in canada, and we have WAY different prices.

like i have a bahama curly tail, and he was $25.00, i have a 15 gallon tank, whick was $27.00, the lid, whick was about $23.00. and all the accessories. it is much mroe expensive up here it sucks:( but ya.. my names jenn btw

I had that Leopard Gecko decor in a 10 gallon it was HORRIBLY cramped! Are you familiar with either of these lizards? Green Anoles are not very active, they are tiny compared to a Leopard Gecko. My Leopard gecko is about 6-7 inches long right now. A 10 gallon is not better than a 20 gallon to keep Leopard Geckos in!

Both leopard geckos and anoles need at least a 20 gallon, so either one or the other is going to be too cramped.

Herpman12, cresties need crickets. I tried the CGD thing and my crestie started loosing weight, FAST. Now i feed crickets dusted withCGD, and a babyfood/CGD mix. She is extremely active, and her colors have even brightened up. I really recommend that you feed crix. It is not only good for there physical health but their mental health as well.
