 Must hear!

ok i am wondering if waxworms are ok for leopard geckos lthat are like two to three inches long? Yeah i waas at petco and they had waxworms 4 the tiny geckos! it kills me cuz they should only b like treats and when my babies were little they ate small cricket and mealies. So anyways is that normal? I am soo worriedcuz there sooo fragile when at that size they can’t not eat for long.

 Must hear!

Waxworms are filled with not-so-nutritious fat. Like candybars. Now would it be healthy if a human child was fed candybars as their main food supply? What about a teenager or adult? No? Exactly.

Those grubs are meant as a treat. One or two a week, 3 if you’re trying to plump up the gecko. If fed as a staple food, the leo will get FattyLiverDesease and die quite upsettingly. The leos will also become addicted and refuse to eat anything else after a point. So if this petstore is doing this literally, give them the message.
