 Uh, what should I get?

My beardie sooner or later will have to move out of his 10 gallon, so I will be saving up money again for another lizard. What would be a fun lizard that lives in a 10 gallon tank? I want something different though. I already have a leopard gecko. I’m thinking about a fat-tail.

A beardie should have been in something bigger than a 10ga to start with. It is very difficult to get the proper temp gradient in a tank that small, even for a baby. And I personally wouldn’t keep a leopard gecko or an AFT in anything smaller than a 20ga, though I know a lot of people do. Instead of trying find a lizard to fit the tank, I’d suggest deciding what lizard you want, and then getting the appropriate tank.

I said my beardie is moving OUT. I didn’t say my leo was in a 10 gallon either. People on RZ can really be too argumentive.

LOL a beardie in a 10 gallon. Impossible to get 100-105 degrees on the hot end and room temp on the cool end..Might as well throw your beardie in a toaster oven :P

But your moving it out now so the past is the past..

10 gallon? Too small for anything :P

I agree, I wouldn’t keeo a leopard gecko or a fat tail in anything that small...15 gallon minimum...

Instead of cramping something into a 10, spend 30 bucks and get a 15 or 20.

You could put some fire belly toads in a 10 gallon. They are pretty cool and fun to watch.
