 I need help

my brother found this Lizard on a boat from chile and i was wondering if you now what species it is so i can gather info about it , the lizard hasn’t eatin in a couple months and i don’t now how i can save it so if you have any info pleas let me now.
reptiles are not allowed where i live so i cant just go to the wet

I hate to tell you this, but if the lizard was wild it’ll probably die no matter what you do. Wild lizards have a HARD time copeing with staying trapped in a tank. They usually refuse to eat and end up dieing of the parasites that harbor in their body and starvation. So ’house training’ a wild lizard is REAL hard.

If you find a herp vet in the area and take your newly found lizard there, they can probably tell you the type of lizard and - if you ask - take it off your hands.

Question, though. Why in the world would you ask this after you starved it for a ’few months’? A week or two, sure. But MONTHS!?

it has been nippling at some fruits and vegetables but doesn’t seem to eat enough for him to gain body mass i have been talking to other people but they don’t now what species it is . i took it to the only vet that takes reptiles her and she didn’t now anything about this species .just said that it needs light and eats fruits and vegetables
