 Need help

I would like to get a lizard. For starters, I have a 10-gallon tank that is currently available. My mom has a daycare in our home and I need a lizard that will not bite off the kid’s fingers *despite how much I would like it to....* so I need one that has a good temperament. I looked at Petsmart and they have a reptile starter kit. Has anyone used these...are they worth/not worth my money? Also, what sort of lizard would have a good temperament, allow me to hold it, and would be good for a 10-gal. tank? I can get a larger tank later down the road if I need to. So once again...

1. Are the reptile starter kits worth my money?
2. What kind of lizard would be best for a 10-gal. tank?
3. What kind of lizard has the best temperament?

Any help would be appreciated. If you could e-mail me at: , it would be great....Thanks!!!!

well a leopard gecko would probably be the best becaues they have good temperment and i believe a juvenile can be kept in a 10 gal but you shouldnt keep any lizard in a room thats usualy crowded or they will get stressed.....as for the starter kits im not sure....ive never seen one but all you will need to set up is some substrate(nothing loose like dirt or sand...use tile or repticarpet),a under tank heater to cover half the cage,a hide for the gecko that you should spray with a bottle that has NEVER held anything but water,a UV heat lamp to run during the day,a water dish no more thatn an inch deep and some crickets or mealworms......do some research though to see if i missed anything

good luck and make sure you do research b4 you buy one
